Awesome piece of advice Jordan! It is realy interesting to see how you think outside the square. Quick reminder that it is due on monday so make sure you complete all of it! Daniel.B
Week 1
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

To live my life for myself. Never have expectations of anyone because then you will just be let down. I have complete control over everything I do, but none over anyone else.
There is always someone who has it worse. Life isn’t always fair. Never ask a question if you don’t want to hear the answer.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.
I was told to always remember it and use it as a guide in difficult situations to decide whether there was really anything I could do to change the situation or not.
“Give back more than you take from life. Your children will reap the rewards of your efforts.”

My dad started teaching us that from a very early age. It took me a little while to understand that he wasn’t talking about material rewards, he was talking about being a better person. “It’s not what happens to you, it’s how you handle it, so concentrate on the solution, not the problem.”

“If everyone disagrees with you or treats you like dirt, do your own thing, regardless or the consequence.”
“Do what makes you happy, not what makes other people happy”

Week 2

What would happen if you threw a piece of trash on the ground? What if everyone did?

On a bright day, you might take a walk. You might walk along the street, enjoying the city or town life, or go hiking in the hills, admiring the scenery. However, eventually, you might come to an area that is nothing like what you have seen so far, an area completely defiled by garbage heaps, scattered trash, and all sorts of rubbish. You may think, how could this have happened? Who would do such a thing? The answer is simple. This desecration of nature and living space was caused by people just like you.
Littering is an environmental problem that has caught the attention of many. It happens when people carelessly throw their trash on the ground or purposely dump their garbage in heaps. Because of this, there are wrappers and bags made of plastic and paper scattered around parks, gum on the roads and sidewalks, plastic scraps of all sorts in bodies of water, and almost a blanket of rubbish on some beaches. And all because people aren’t willing to take the time to keep their trash until they find a wastebasket.
“Why should we worry about where we put our trash?” some may ask. There are many good reasons why we shouldn’t litter. The builders who constructed the city or town you live in worked hard to create a beautiful living space for you and your neighbors.

Week 3

What would you do if you saw a friend cheating - report it, confront the friend or nothing - and why?
I would report it because its wrong to cheat but they could just ask for help or ask other student about the Question or they could ask you about the Question or they could think about it and try there best to answer it them selfs and so on.

What do you think courage means?
What does courage mean to you? Do you think of the fire-fighters who lost their lives in the World Trade Centre towers? Do you think of the men and women serving in Afghanistan and I
What about the courage to admit a mistake? Or the courage to stop someone from hurting you? Or the courage to stand up for what you believe? Or the courage to just be yourself?
Yes, all those things take courage, but all of those things also have something else in common. Do you think any one of those things can be accomplished without feeling some fear? No. There cannot be courage without fear.
It takes courage to end an unhealthy relationship. It takes courage to quit an unfulfilling job. It takes courage to say No to someone who is using you. It takes courage to set up a new spending plan. It takes courage to say Yes to your dreams when it means putting your self-esteem out there for the whole world to see (well, that's relative, but you know what I mean). It takes courage to reorganize your time so that you spend it on what is most meaningful to you. It takes courage to ask for what you need and want in your life. It takes courage to be honest.

What do you think makes a good friend?
I think a good friend is someone is someone you can rely on, someone that will know how to cheer you up and make you smile or maybe you just are happy because they're there. Even if you get in arguments you're able to over come them and be friends again.. I think what makes a good friend depends on both of you, there are many definitions. I think a good friend is someone who will help you in the difficult situation. The good friend will think not about himself but only about you. A simple man next to you who knows when to laugh or agree with you, and that who says you're wrong when obviously you are. He who will push you up when you seems to be bothered, and will have always his strength supporting your weakness. He is your good friend when he mostly listens on your thoughts.
